Legal Services
 

PURPOSE OF THIS DIVISION
To provide legal support services.
 

FUNCTIONS OF THIS DIVISION
  • Provision of a sound legal opinion to council and administration or municipality
  • Provision of litigation management
  • Draft and management of contracts and Service Legal Agreement (SLA)
  • Provide legal support on drafting policies and by-laws
Office of the Mayor
 

PURPOSE OF THIS DIVISION
To render support services to the mayor.
 

FUNCTIONS OF THIS DIVISION
  • Plan, coordinate and manage activities in the mayor’s office
  • Compile, manage budget for mayor’s office
  • Manage communication, protocol, and special events
PMS
 

PURPOSE OF THIS DIVISION
To provide strategic operational risk management services.
 

FUNCTIONS OF THIS DIVISION
  • Cascade PMS at all levels
  • Consolidate monthly, quarterly, mid
  • year and annual report
  • Facilitate submission and consolidation of Programmes and Performance reports
  • Provide institutional performance monitoring support
  • Attend to AG and Internal Audit requirements on performance information
  • Administration of performance rewards and expenditure
  • Maintenance of performance management database
  • Coordination of probationary reports
Risk Management
 

PURPOSE OF THIS DIVISION
To provide strategic operational risk management services.
 

FUNCTIONS OF THIS DIVISION
  • Facilitation of potential risk management services
  • Analysis of identified risks
  • Development of risk management strategy and compilation of fraud prevention plans
  • Monitoring of risk intervention plans
