Giyani Central Business District

Is a lively informal business sector that should not be missed. Experience Tsonga indigenous food or dishes such as matomani (mopani worms), tihove, tshopi, vuswa bya mavele, xigwimbi, vukanyi, xigugu etc. Different visual art projects can be seen pottery, bead works, ceramic art, wood-curving etc.

MAN'OMBE NATURE RESERVE

Man'ombe Nature Reserve ideal place to visit where the site tour-guide will explain the history of the area, learn more about the Shangaan history museum and view the animals found inside which are kudu's, mountain zebra's, giraffe's, crocodiles, water-bucks & impala's and take time for a night on the beautiful chalets not forgetting the caravan park together with picnic spots.
NSAMI DAM & SURROUNDINGS

Water sports, swimming, fishing, picnic spots & many more to enjoy at Nsami dam Caravan Park together with history and being informed about the mysterious places on the dam (on process of being upgraded or extended).

 
Visiting Thomo village to explore more about village tourism, a chance to visit Tinghwazi Alamagamation project for the perfection of different art work, take a tour to the village by donkey-cart, eat indigenous food like (muroho, tihove, xigugu etc), learn to play traditional game e.g. (cuva, magava etc) and let the Traditional Tsonga dancing groups entertain you the likes of Dzikari, etc. The development of cultural village was funded and the process on the way to build soon.
The baobab tree was used as a sleeping kraal for goats "on process of being used as a pub to serve traditional and marula beers for future.
BALENI CAMP

On the east of Giyani is Baleni Camp on the way pass through Ngobe village to view the peace pole erected on the hill a local tour-guide will explain about the significant role or part it plays to Ngobe community be taken away by Sisimukani Gacheni. Pass Nkomo A, B & C on the way to and "the C one is believe to be a place of people who knows black magic." Mahumani village make time to relax at the King' Royal Palace on the hill and the community MPCC where different projects takes place. (Spend +- 1 hour.)
Baleni camp is situated in a remote and tranquil Mopani forest adjacent to mineral hot spring on the banks of Klein Letaba River Sautini the place of salt. It provides a glimpse of the traditional lifestyle of the Shangaan culture which includes the traditional way of salt mining and accommodation available in traditional huts. The camp may also arrange for the community to entertain by using local dancing groups e.g. Mgwazeni & Mukula etc. This will ideal place to rest for a day after exploring
